Meta Fusion

While preparing for a photographic exhibition of a yearlong documentary, “Life of a Vineyard”, in Mason, Texas, on February 4,2021, the 19th century county courthouse burnt down to its bones, (limestone walls).

At once, county judge Bearden approved my documenting the courthouse’s rebirth process. At this time, unknown to me, a metamorphosis began, the theme of two dynamic forces coming together, nature vs. humanity.

Shortly after working inside the destroyed structure, I began to exhibit images from the local vineyard. The discovery of images of beauty created by an inferno gave me pause and revel while exhibiting them in the new found ‘courthouse gallery’.

Sadly, these images and gallery will exist only briefly because of the rebirth process.
Meta-fusion!
